2. Role Purpose
Sales Manager will take strategic responsibility for developing the sales network and achieving TLS x Rhenac’s business objectives in the key region of the UK and Ireland. While this is the primary scope of the role, you will also play an important supporting role in developing and managing partnerships within the broader EMEA sales network.
3. Responsibilities
- Develop and grow TLS sales with a strong focus on the UK and Ireland.
- Identify and approach stadium operators, football, rugby and cricket clubs, and sports authorities.
- Develop relationships with stadia architects and construction companies, specialist consultants, test houses, hybrid pitch suppliers and pitch builders.
- Build strong partnerships with clients, local agents and international distributors.
- Manage the full sales cycle including lead generation, proposals, negotiation, and contract closing.
- Achieve defined sales and margin targets for the region.
- Collaborate with Rhenac headquarters and technical/supply teams for smooth project delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitors and industry developments.
- Work with R&D and Engineering to align solutions with customer needs.
- Represent TLS and the Rhenac Group at industry events and conferences.
4. Candidate Profile
- Self-driven, ambitious, entrepreneurial mindset with remote working experience.
- Ability to work independently across multiple regions.
- Strong communication skills across all stakeholder levels in the stadia industry.
- Experience in technical or B2B sales (sports, turf, lighting, or facility solutions preferred).
- Existing network in the sports industry is an advantage.
- Excellent English communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Additional languages (e.g. German or French) are beneficial.
- Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally.
- Genuine interest in sport.
